Strand 1 – “European Rememberance

6 events have been carried out within this project:

Event 1Participation: The event involved 130 citizens, including 5 participants from the city of Ludberg (Croatia), 5 participants from the city of Nawodna (Poland), including  7 participants from the city of Ortelle (Italy),

2 participants from the city of Knezia (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Thessalonika (Greece) and 109 from Malta.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Gharb (Malta ), from 14/07/2022- 17/07/2022
Short description:  The aim of the event was project kick-off, administrative, financial and timeframe, conference on bridging the gap between People and Policy makers.

 

Event 2
Participation: The event involved 100 citizens, including 45 participants from the city of Gharb (Malta),  2 participants from the city of Nawodna (Poland), including 6 participants from the city of Ortelle (Italy),

2 participants from the city of Knezia (Bulgaria) and 45 from Croatia.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Ludbreg (Croatia), from 28/10/2022- 02/11/2022
Short description:  The aim of the event was a debate on the need for society to adapt to people’s realities, understanding the reality, the needs, the work available, the living conditions and the education system, sharing of good practices.

 

Event 3
Participation: The event involved 139 citizens, including 43 participants from the city of Gharb (Malta), including 2 participants from the city of Ortelle (Italy), 2 participants from the city of Knezia (Bulgaria), 2 participants from the city of Thessalonika (Greece) and 90 from Poland.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Nawodna (Poland), from 04/01/2023- 08/01/2023
Short description:  Debate on forward looking citizens and constructive ideas which stimulate citizens initiatives for a more inclusive and participatory society.

Event 4
Participation: The event involved 90 citizens, including 4 participants from the city of Gharb (Malta), 2 participants from the city of Nawodna (Poland), 1 participant from the city of Knezia (Bulgaria) and 83 from Italy.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Ortezzano (Italy), from 18/03/2023 to 22/03/2023
Short description:  The aim of the event was through a debate on how to utilize criticisms of the EU into useful, constructive and positive drivers for European integration.

 

Event 5
Participation: The event involved 80 citizens, including 2 participants from the city of Nawodna (Poland), including and 2 participants from the city of Gharb (Malta) and 76 from Bulgaria.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Knezha (Bulgaria), from 19/03/2023 to 22/03/2023
Short description:  The aim of the event focused on how to bridge the gap between policy makers and the citziens for a more inclusive society.

 

Event 6
Participation: The event involved 80 citizens, including 6 participants from the city of Gharb (Malta), 2 participants from the city of Nawodna (Poland), 2 participants from the city of Knezia (Bulgaria) and 70 from Greece.

Location / Dates: The event took place in Thessalonika (Greece), from 24/03/2023 to 26/03/2023
Short description:  The aim of the event was understanding and debating the divide between citizens of a city and newcomers.
