1 teaspoon crushed sardines |

2 tablespoons vodka or gin |
|
|
|
|
|
salt, crushed pepper and nutmeg |

1. Cut off the head of the peperoni, remove their seeds and rinse well, |
|
|
|
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan, and gradually add the flour whilst stirring thouroghly. Add the sardines, cream and vodka or gin, and continue stirring. Cook on a very gentle flame for 10 minutes, and then let it cool down. |

3. Warm the oven at gas mark 6, and place a dish with a little oil in the oven. |
|
|
|
4. Stuff the peperoni with the filling cooked in step 2, then place them in the oven dish, and cook for 40 minutes |
