As part of the World Environment Day Celebrations, the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA) is teaming up with the Local Councils Association, to organise a Summer Art Competition for Children.
Children between the ages of 8 and 12 can participate by drawing a wild plant, animal or insect that is repreentative of the village or town they live in.
68 mascots, one for each locality, will be selected and will become the official set of mascots which will be used in various initiatives that will aim to increase awarness about Malta's biodiversity and environment.
Closing Date 30th September 2011.
