Ghaqda Muzikali Vizitazzjoni — A local band is once again adding its touch to the holidays with its annual Christmas musical performance.
Visitation Band is presenting its annual Christmas Celebration concert Tuseday 27 and Friday 30, at the Perish Church, Basilica of the Visitation Gharb Gozo @ 7.30 and San Lawrenz Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz @ 8.00 respectively.
The band, which began in 2003, is in its 8th season of bringing symphonic music this year under the direction of Mro George Apap
This year’s performance will consist of a selections chosen by the band maestro who is in his 1st year of directing the Band, such selection including staples as “Imagine,” “Feliz Navidad” and “Instant Concert,”
The celebration, however, doesn’t just stop at the music but on the 30th the Executive committee will be meeting all band players during a gathering for which those attending the concert can buy tickets by booking on 79472667. During this gathering a souvenir will be distributed to all audience.
This concert is being kept with the collaboration of the Gharb Local Council
Both performance are free to the public.
