The Gharb Local Council together with the Department of Libraries and the Department of Customer Services invite applications from qualified persons for librarian services at Gharb Branch Library at Visitation Street, Gharb.
The selected candidate has to speak fluently Maltese and English, be able to operate and handle office equipment, be computer literate and work 6 hours per week. He/she has to run the library as decided by the Council from time to time and at the times established by the Council and the Departments.
The selected candidate is expected to manage ancillary services provided at the library and their charges.
Applicants eligible to apply ned to occupy or have occupied the post of librarian or be in possession of a Diploma in Library and Information Studies or be in possession of 5 certificates at SEC Level or equivalent which include Maltese and English. |
